The Alien Princess

After rewatching many of the Alien films and finishing the Alien: Earth series, I felt inspired to create some Alien fan art. The idea of a humanoid lifeform controlling a Xenomorph like a pet fascinated me, which eventually led to the concept of an android–alien hybrid I call the “Alien Princess.” I wanted the creatures to feel mysterious without relying on heavy shadows or darkness. Instead, my goal was to evoke a frightening deus ex machina moment in full, unforgiving brightness—something reminiscent of the Alien–human hybrid in Alien: Resurrection.

This piece is another step in my ongoing search for a visual style that suits my graphic novel “The Exile of Water.” I’ve been experimenting with ways to compose so many limbs and intricate details without over-rendering and while preserving the clarity of the line art. I hope you enjoy it!
